I really want a mouse?

Ok. So I really want a mouse, but my parents hate them. I have an extra cage, and everything. I have a syrian hamster, but I also want a mouse. They are at petsmart for $3, but my parents still won't let me have one. They say i have too many pets. All i have is a hamster... any ideas on convincing them?
