What small pet should i get?

A betta fish is simple and easy! They can be kept in small aquariums, so there is not much to clean up after. I also like Guinea pigs because of their sweet nature. Rats are also great pets, as they are extremely good-tempered and intelligent. Maybe a small bird too, like a finch or a budgie?
