How much is too much for nail polish?

I love O.P.I and Essie and China Glaze nail polishes, but i feel they are too pricey. I know they are good quality but nail polish last at most about a week, more or less. And you can get tired of the colors quite quickly. So why pay so much? How much is too much for you guys?
