How old do you have to be to buy a hamster? im 15 and i went to petmart and their only 12bucks!!!?

You just have to hand them the money. Just make sure your parents are OK with it first! Remember the cage, scraps, food, toys, etc are a lot more expensive than just the hamster though. My bird was cheap but i ended up spending $100 that day on everything else.
